Community values
Homeroom's mission is to provide a safe space for students to have judgement-free discourse. This requires Homeroom community members to commit to being respectful and understanding of different perspectives.
Homeroom users agree to keep to the following Community Values:
-
Committed to anonymity - Users should not target a particular person on campus, or attempt to expose their identities
-
Understanding of differences - Users need not agree with each other but should work to understand other perspectives
-
Respectful of others - Different perspectives are encouraged but users should be respectful of others and their views
Things that will not be tolerated:
-
Illegal activity
-
Toxic behavior - including racism, sexism, bullying or similar behavior
We've all seen how toxic anonymous online communities can get. In order to maintain a healthy community, any user who does not keep to the above values will be banned indefinitely and at the sole judgement of the moderators. For any questions, please e-mail us at: admin@thehomeroom.net.
